The MUNZ BARRE® Method is a first-time innovation in the history of ballet: your body works as a whole rather than a series of disconnected parts, seamlessly assimilating the entire ballet vocabulary with movement strategies known in Biomechanics to self-generate core strength, deep fibers elasticity, wider rotations in the hips. Multi-Awarded by the French and the American governments, it was created in 2004 by Alexandre Munz after his career, to overcome major spine problems; the results were extremely rapid and beyond all expectations, so Alexandre canceled his surgery and began his teaching career.
The MUNZ BARRE® is now used by high level dancers for warming up before a show or for regenerating muscles between 2 acts, it is taught by certified ballet teachers in dance schools and universities in France, Italy, The Netherlands, Canada, the United States and Mexico.
